Cheers for that Monsta. I checked that post out at the time you posted it. Just don't know if i dare rip the GTI apart  :undecided: Especially as i am awaiting the replacement!

I see, well that would explain why it sounds louder with the panels removed. Has it always just been a speaker I'm sure I've seen some blueprints for some fiddlyness being done to the exhaust route to make more noise?
