Really hope this becomes available to iOS users. To be honest i can't see myself ever moving away from iPhone.

Yeah it would be great if they actually do integrate iOS with MirrorLink.. But heck, I wouldn't mind buying an HTC/Android phone for that. Seems pretty cool!

I guess we will have to wait for this technology on our next cars since its unlikely to be a firmware upgrade.

A member on the German GTI forum said that vw are planning to offer mirror link as an accessory to existing cars as all is required is a software upgrade.

If this is true, then its great news... I hope this includes iPhone connectivity

I wonder if mirror link will be available on the standard mk7 head unit , as I'm due a phone upgrade & wondering weather to go Android from iPhone this feature would make my mind up.
