Changing mk3 odometer from metric (Kilometers) to Imperial (miles)

I'm currently in the midst of sourcing some Golf3 TDI Anniversary clocks with MFA display from Germany and was wondering how you go about changing the country code on them which in turn changes whether they display Kilometers / KM per litre or Miles / MPG?
I'm aware that the mk3 clocks need to be removed from the vehicle for mileage correction but is it the same software utilsed for the country code?

Think I may have found the a way to do it without even removing them or plugging anything in.
