Jimble it does have ADC as standard, we'll see insurance group wise i'm more interested how it compares to my Mk6

Nice to hear some positive dealer news, the one i use is great and why i come back time and time again, yes i may have saved some extra pennies but then i factor in hassle

Not 100% sure yet mate, i've seen videos and pictures with the distance button on the steering wheel and the R line cars have the same grill as the R and have the sensor so the parts are fabricated, can't see why they wouldn't tbh? I got a quote for a mk6 R the other day and it was £50 cheaper than i paid for my mk7 GTI! :o

Hopefully it won't be too bad though.

Found the pics i was on about:

those roof bars look terrible

The R Line is not the same as the R. The R line is a cosmetic variation - like High Line or Comfort Line. Audi do the same. It is confusing!

Swiss (in German) brochure for R-Line: http://imagepool.spruenglidruck.ch/pageflip/vw_pw_flyer/d/d_golf_rline_design/index.html#1
Cost from CHF31'450.00/ £20,000

and Golf R - starts at CHF 48'840.00 / £31,000...

I don't know but looking at those pictures the interior is like the Golf R, the special blue paint looks like the Golf R, the body kit is almost the same too... its a little too much part sharing for my liking...... where is the unique and exclusive items for the Golf R?

The interior pic is a Golf R, i posted the pics to illustrate the likelyhood that the R will have ADC, the pic of the R line estate has the same front bumper as the R.

The front bumper on the R is not the same as the 100% R- line, not withstanding fogs etc doesn't have the side vents

Always a bit of parts bin special on the R, bluemotion skirts on Mk6 and the jetta esqe front on the mk5

I've resigned myself that my R will not be as fast as a MK5 R as I am reliably informed is the fastest car ever made, admittedly that was from owners and the ones I've driven must have been broken

Lol! I thought the Honda Civic type R was the quickest car ever?? ;D

Agreed on the bumper, the grill is the same though so should go in the R?

I may have a pic of a Rline from Frankfurt, given price list says in addition to GTI I'm expecting the ACC but who really knows lol
