The MK I TT was a real hairdressers car, much like the Beetle is – very much friendy curves looking. Much prefer the MK2, it looks a bit more aggressive (not as aggressive as the Scirocco), hopefully the MK3 will look meaner still – lasses seem to steer clear of aggressive looking cars.

The Evoke is definitely a lass’ car. Coupe’d-up range rover? No thanks. That makes as much sense as having an Audi TT+ people carrier.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

Get a manual GTi performance pack with 19" Santiago's
It's the best all-round Golf.

Although according to the GTI PP road test in Decembers VW Driver, the 19's are best left alone and the money spent on DCC instead.
Order both

OK so spoke to the dealer yesterday and they've said they are happy for me to order a new car, they're going to decide whether they let me use the GTI until the new car arrives or if i'll just use their courtesy cars, i'm fine either way tbh, the way in which the situation has been handled up to now has been very good and i've got zero complaints about the dealership themselves as it could easily of been handled very differently.

Anyways, the wife and i have decided to go for an R, surprise surprise! After a few calculations it's not going to cost much more after a few spec tweeks, i'm really struggling to decide between the sunroof or 19" Pretorias? I know they can be specced together but i'm not willing to spend that much, i can't find any pictures of the standard 18" wheels and if they'll look lost or not?

I appreciate the comments so far as always.

Great news mate
I would go for the 19" Pretorias alloys over the sunroof, they look way better than the standard 18" poo ones.

I'd spec wheels before sunroof, although I didn't spec either on my GTI!

Realy glad it's worked out well for you - at least some dealers take customer satisfaction seriously.
