Thinking of buying an mk4 r32... Low mileage around 67k with full vw history in immaculate condition.

What is a good price to pay? Why are they close to mk5 in price?

Silver 3 door with grey half leathers on 53 reg,
Mods - Full miltek catback last year with receipts and cupra splitter at front.
In excellent condition has full dealer history.

Suppose I dont get on with it, how easy would it be to sell for 5500-5700?

Ive been seeing them going from £4000-£7000 but if you look you can get a mk5 r32 for around that too  :shocked:

People are put off the mk5 r32s because of the stupidly high tax bracket.

and the ammount of fuel they use....... and in all honesty there not as "fast" as you would expect.
For example there 0-60 is 6.5 for a 3.2 V6 that is terrible considdering cars such as Civic type R and Subaru will beat that with ease....

Mk5 R32 is a better car handling wise but is let down by the lack of uniqueness about it and the circa £400 tax bracket like Dom said

but we live in the real world were printed figures mean nothing  :grin: :grin:  try getting the civic off the line in the wet
