Revo! As the Edinburgh garage I am getting it from has an in house man I believe. It will probably cost best part of £500.00, but I think it will be well worth it. Tempted for a tuning box but unsure...pick the car up Saturday so lets see how I get on with it first of all

I had a Revo remap on my old MK VI GTI which was done in Aberdeen. Am in Glasgow now. Who is it who is doing the Revo ones in Edinburgh as picking up my GTD next week and keen to get a remap rather than a tuning box.

Problem is the MK7 use ECU's which are encrypted and will require the ECU to be removed and opened up in order to bypass the "anti tune"....Cannot say im too happy with that prospect......

Thats why I like the idea of the plug in box options

Think it's Gti World in Edinburgh that do the re-map, but dont know what price....
I got my Audi A3 Sportback Black Edition 2.0 TFSI done in Aberdeen from Wallace Performance who did a Revo remap, and made a fair differance....but dont know if it's on the market yet for the Mk7 
Am all in if we find a re map for the Mk7 Gti in Scotland...lets put the feelers out guys and report back on here

As hastd2 has said, GTI world in Edinburgh, but from the website  (http://www.revotechnik.com/) the closest to you on the West coast is Konzept Auto,G13 4DJ, Telephone: 01419 514447.

No maps are ready for the market as of yet, but it does generally take 6months possibly longer for them to release one. I keep having a nose on the site to see if there has been any progress but none as of yet
