Hi just wondering did you get the leak sorted as I'm having the exact same prob except I'm using the old housing. bolts are done up nice and tight. 4 times I've had the t-stat in and out. any words of wisdom welcome ..thanks

Dude I did mine and the same thing happened the o ring is meant to fit around the thermostat not before or after euro carparts sell the wrong type of o ring I wasted 6 bottles of coolant and 3 thermostats until I gave up and went to dealers and got the right one the miraculously fine. The dealer  o ring has a slit on the iner of the o ring and it goes round the thermostat
