In tank fuel pump
« on: 12 November 2013, 16:32 »
Nowhere seems to stock them, is there anywhere I can buy one from? This is for a 1.8 digi. Frustrating as it's an easy job to get the car back on the road but I can't source a part from anywhere.

why not fit a mk3 gti tank? single pump in tank keeps it simple and I think the same pump was used for vr6 so should be good for big power. but then again it shouldn't be difficult to find the original 1.8 pump. try ecp or gsf.

eBay one from volksbits was the wrong part also. The vwh one is also incorrect looking at the picture. Is there anywhere that actually sells the correct item? Everyone sells a confirmed direct replacement but after buying it from 3 separate vendors the replacement part is different to the original item. Is the pick up pump the same in the driver models as that's the only available cars at the scrapyard?
