Who will retro fit rear electric windows - MK6 Golf
« on: 10 November 2013, 21:45 »
I'm trying to find a decent VAG specialist who would be able to fit OEM rear electric windows on my Golf. Anybody have any recommendations?

I'm moving to Lincolnshire next week, so that would be ideal. But happy to travel as most garages won't touch it

I can understand why. Its a lot of work  :undecided:  plus the CCM could possibly need changing  :undecided:

From what I can make out it an be programmed in but looms to the rear doors need changing. Mate asked about it, easier to bodge a universal kit in but not sure if I'd really wanna do that on a Mk6 personally.

Where all my moneys went.

Golf MK3 1.6. Golf MK3 8v GTI.

I've already got pretty much all the parts. Rear doors including looms, regulators, motors and all, door cards with all switches.

Roy at Autobarn tells me that the plug in the B pillar is wrong so not sure how to get around that.

I know the programming can be problematic but the actual door inners should be able to be swapped in full once the bolts are drilled out.
