Some might, but the vast majority I've seen just seem to stop at one UK port then return back to the continent, but not always to Emden (most likely taking UK-built cars to take back on the return journey), then head to Emden once they've dropped those off.

So I have just spoken to VW Customer Services, who tell me my car has arrived in the UK and has been assigned a car transporter lorry, so should be getting it at the end of this week, or early next week.

This is despite the tracker still saying "In Transit" with 3 weeks to go.... ???

Yeah, my tracker says arrived UK. Dealer reckons they'll have it ready for collection Thursday morning. Happy Days.

Cheers

Great news folks..... mine came a head of when I was expecting it.
Looks like Volkswagen are back on track now.
As long as dealerships give REAL expectations to customers about up to 25 weeks lead times, there shouldnt be too many unhappy customers.

Just for double clarification, just rang my dealer and he said they are expecting it to be delivered to them tomorrow :)  and that they will be ringing to arrange delivery/collection.

Can't wait.

Annoying that the tracker still says 3 weeks though!
