I went in and signed the paperwork yesterday, my car was being PDI'd at the time. Looks like I will be collecting it Saturday 18th. The excitement is kicking in now! I am going to give my Mk6 a valet this weekend as I am selling it to my mum! I feel a lot better about that I am not trading in a mint car, and keeping it in the family 
How is everyone else doing with collecting their cars?

Sounds like you'll be collecting your car a similar time to me. I too signed all my paperwork on the 10th. My car is yet to arrive at the dealers but is in the uk at least!
Had to check the paperwork extra carefully as I had the sales manager and he tried to make me pay more when I originally signed the deal to purchase the car....and he did it again! Mental! I had my original quote with me and said make it the same as this! He went back rather sheepishly and sorted it out. I would have payed over a £1000 more so anyone signing the finance sheet check it VERY carefully! (His trick was to say that my monthly payments were now £9 a month lower so was great...however my final balloon payment had gone up over £1000! Really not sure what he had done.
Also due to my car being delivered late I managed to blag free alloy wheel cover for 3 years! All ways worth trying to squeeze a little extra in!
I'll be collecting mine next Monday as my work schedule won't allow me to pick up over the weekend :-(
I'll be part ex-ing my Astra coupe SE2 which I have looked after very well and still like the car but can't afford to keep both. Not getting much for it on the part ex but tried to sell privately and didn't get many bites. I guess Christmas time isn't a great time to try and sell a car. Haveing 125k on the clock probably doesn't help either. I'll be sad to see it go as I've had it for 9 years!
