Hopefully mine is sitting at Tyne, didn't hear a peep from my dealer today, after him sayn I will keep you up to date if there is any movement!!!!
Hence the call to VWUK this morning to check for my self :whistle: and guess what :wink: the car was on the boat last night and should have arrived this evening...... :laugh:
So will wait and see what tomorrow brings :whistle:

Here is my morning reply from my dealer - Morning Doug,

Apologies for the delay in responding but I was offsite at Elgin for meetings all day yesterday but the good news is YES the GTi has updated to showing "shipped" and as you requested the ship details - TYE725.

This should be receipted in UK today and car I expect will then be delivered to the retailer at the start of next week and we will have it ready as soon as possible when it arrives but this will take 2 working days for the PDi etc.

Good news it actually nearly here though.

Guys is TYE725 a Ships name or a Call sign??? and where could i find this on a tracker? I have looked on Marine Traffic but with no joy :sad:

Doh, I think thats the Port Name and Designation number and not a ship!  :whistle:

2014Gti I knew what Tye stood for its just the 725 that stumped me!!
My Gti was shipped yesterday heading for Newcastle so the only ship I can see on marine traffic is the City of Barcelona which docked yesterday at 15.00
So am hoping its on that boat!!!
