Hi Ian, Mines just arrived at Emden by the sounds of it from my email from dealer. Although the tracker still says it's being built. How long has yours been waiting there?

Mine has been at Emden since the 30th, was told it was ment to ship to Tyne today, but still sitting there :cry:

Just been on the phone to vw uk..not good news. My car is still at Emden and apparently I won't be getting it until 1st or second week in January now!  :angry: This is despite the fact my dealer said I would have it by the 21st December.

On the phone to VWUK and been told my Gti sailed last night on route to Tyne, so waiting on Dealer to confirm this and the name of the ship it's on... :laugh:

The guy at VW UK also said we shouldn't be calling them for info on our order but to always go through the dealership! Maybe they are getting a lot of calls... :lipsrsealed:

It's a small cost for them to answer our questions when we are spending up to 30k with them. The last time I called the guy said call anytime :)

They are correct thought, your dealership has access to cars stages and should be calling you on a regular basis to provide updates.
Mine called me on a weekly basis and couldnt fault them one bit.  :smiley:
