Very true. At least our cars shuld be built this week. I plan to take delivery 1 Febuary anyway :)

I emailed my dealer too and his reply was this: "It is still in build will be here december it will not be updated until next week as they only started building it on Sunday"

Not too helpful really! His lack of grammar is annoying too!  :undecided: I get the impression he doesn't really care but guess he probably has a lot of people nagging him for details...

Also, on the tracker it states it takes about 30hrs to build a golf spread over 2-4 days. If it started on Sunday then surely it should be built by now!  :rolleyes:

Been reading this forum since ordering my GTD and thought I'd finally register...

I've got a 5dr GTD on order with DNS Pro on build week 48. Interestingly it jumped from 'build week confirmed' to 'in transit' on Monday. Yesterday the tracker changed to 3 weeks.

Excitement is not the word!

Welcome to the forum! :-) I wish my tracker would jump to 'In Transit!' lol 3 weeks....so pretty close to Xmas! It's cutting it fine!

I have to admit my dealer has been really good, emailing me screen shots of his production process screen. I did call Vw this afternoon just to check and was informed my car is at build stage 1 whatever that is.

Same here, I'm guessing it will just go straight to In Transit, and "miss out" the Build In Progress step.
