been promised a courtesy car from next week from VWUK, they told me to contact the dealership afew days before to ensure car availability. Called my main dealer and asked about the arrangements for the courtesy car, they told me we do not do courest car and why have VWUK authorized a courtesy car you dont qualify for one..... :undecided:ahhhhh i replied, they said we have no record of this and you need to get in touch with vwuk and then call us back and tell us what they say!!1 I was fuming I said firstly you make it sound like im making it up, secondly VWUK offered a courtesy car without me complaining...
got on to vwuk and told them how embarrassing the conversation with my dealship was, they apologies , I told them that you need to contact my dealership and call me back to update me about the arrangements for the car.......not pleased!!!

My Dealer has requested me to take my BMW X1 in for trade in by mid Dec, If my Gti has not arrived they will give us a loan car till it arrives......its getting closer

Been told by VWUK now its build week start 17/11, and I should expect delivery Mid Jan...even more desperate to get courtesy car, I could sell my current car for decent money and cancel my insurance til the beast arrives

So they are building it a week earlier yet your receiving it a month later? How does that work?

So you by - passed your dealer to find out this info on the BW being brought forward by a week??
So if I call VW UK they might tell me differant from the tacker you think
If that's the case I would be well chuffed with that responce :shocked
would you have the number for who you called in VW UK??

Just been on the phone to VWUK and asked when the status of play is with my order!!!
The reply was.............................................after 15mins on hold,latest it will be the 1st week in January, so i asked is there any chance of it arriving before Xmas  .....and the answer that I was not looking for was they are on a skeleton staff so we very much dout it

Yep, tracker telling me it can't find my order number  .....I'm BW45 and according to dealer it's been built and in transit, but still a little disconcerting

Well the tracker works again and it shows BW 24/11/13. Sounds like week 48 to me

Well the time is here for build to comence  .....so fingers crossed they pull the finger out and get on with it
The dealer phoned this morning saying that he got my Reg Doc's in the post for the private plate transfer to send to DVLA 
Will be dropping my BMW X1 into the BMW garage next Thursday as the transfer box is playing up again, so will rather get it fixed under warrenty, before I trade it in just incase it back fires on me. so will be getting a loan car from BMW for 2 days till my X1 is fixed....then trade it in to Vw Hawco Peterhead, to which they are supplying a loan car till my Gti has arrived...
So it going to be a busy few weeks ahead all before Xmas
