By three years of updates I think they meant that's how long it would take to download it. Jesus wept this is taking ages.

LOL - I have it here, and did put it on my dropbox - all 17GB of it - but got banned by dropbox for traffic

Do what chief? Just download the files, unzip and then copy to an SD card.

Just uncompress onto an SD card and that should be fine

google 7zip for mac

the Discover media guys, did you download the zipped file in one go or one after the other. lf one after the other, do you have to extract each of the segments as I am getting an error message when I try download part 2.

bloody heck it takes ages. it would be quicker to install the actual unit at this rate.

I'm looking at about 18.1GB uncompressed for the Nav Pro update. Does that sound about right to everyone?

Got it on my SD card now and it reads 18.1 GB, so yes, that's fine.

Took my nav about 2 hours to update.
