I am the same as you although i would like it if it were a little lower. I am just a little apprehensive about making it too firm as the last lowered car i had (mini jcw) was unbearably uncomfortable over pot holes etc.

do what i do, lower it then keep it in comfort most of the time through the crap roads i travel on lol. Actually, its given great use to the 'individual' setting which i initially thought was useless, now i can have sport engine and comfort shocks and normal diff to keep me alive until the summer

I'm just on standard suspension so no DCC for me. Maybe i will give awesome a call and see if they have a MK7 i can go for a ride in to see what the lowering springs are like.

For what it's worth, I've had the VWR springs in mine now for about 3 weeks and I can't tell any difference in ride quality. If I didn't know it was done I wouldn't be able to tell. I don't have the adaptive suspension either.

Yeah I'm in Ireland!

I posted up some pics here the day I had it done:

To me it still looks OEM. If you are after a very low slammed look, you might want something else!. This is a fairly subtle drop but it really improves the looks IMO, especially the rear end, which is just too high as standard.

EDIT. I measured it before and after and it's roughly a 25-30mm drop.

I'm concerned about what it'll do for my insurance and also my beloved comfort mode. I drive nearly 100% of the time in comfort and love the way it absorbs the bumps!

It does look good Joe. Definitely something to consider for the future. Including wheel spacers and exhaust
