New Golf R opens for ordering this week

Correct me if I'm wrong but is the only paint colour that is unique to the R the blue? If it is then ill bet you 99.9% of R orders are going to be blue. They could be doing with expanding their colour range.

Yup, kind of like CSG is the only colour unique to the GTI/D.

Colour rise I thought the mk7 R looked pants in white unlike the mk6, I was tempered by the grey, if DSG had been available it would have been a no brainier

I think red also suits the mk7

The blue in the flesh was just amazing and I always loved rising blue

I also thought the blue was subtle

Not in th UK configuration till January maybe the marketing dept couldn't work out which dog to use

Movi - that last pic (above is disappointing). They get standard shape seats on the R too? Can't believe a MK6 Golf GTI/GTD has better looking sports seats than a MK7 R.

Was going to sell my mk7 gti that I just got and buy an r but lead time from drivethedeal is April next year

i didn't see the cloth so just looked on German site, alcantara and cloth suits me fine, in Frankfurt they had carbon leather which was stunning but not £2.6k stunning
