fitment of distributor

right need to fit a new distributor as the hall sender on my current one has packed in, how hard and long is it gonna be to do? Also am I going to have to set the timing etc up? Cheers

Handy enough job to fit. You can roughly line up the timing if you mark the position of old dizzy and use that as a ref point for new dizzy. But ideally you want to set timing using timing light

Cheers . Looking to do all of the timing, co etc just as a basic tune up for it been stood still for a few years with 177k on the clocks!

8v or 16v? have a look in the mk2 technical guides, some good stuff in there for getting it setup
