16v shortage?
« on: 02 November 2013, 10:11 »
Just been having a mooch around the tinterwebzs to see what i should be selling my car for and there doesn't seem to be many valvers up for sale at the moment, are the numbers really diminishing that much or are people hanging onto them now and just getting shot of their breathless 8v's and guzzling Vr6's?

I totalled one around a lamp post, sold one (which is still going strong) and am still driving the 3rd one on 164k miles  :smug:

you think 16v are hard, I keep looking at anniversary's and they are all crazy priced or rot boxes! I should put mine up for £2000 as that's seems the average price for one in the condition of mine

and all mk3's seem to be getting harder to find! (solid one's are super rare! I must say that excludes all the e38 "priced" one's)

Which reminds me, how do you sell on E38 as I can't seem to fathom it out. Do you need a certain amount of posts first?

Mine is extremely solid. Glad I decided not to sell
