swapped over throttle body
« on: 01 November 2013, 15:25 »
afternoon!
ive just swapped over my throttle body for a ported one (thanks spikenipple), got it all back together but the sensor on the closest side if standing at the front of the car, does not quite fit. the old TB had two sets of screw holes, but the new one has only one. the sensor now hits the inlet mani before the holes line up. its on there just not secure.
will it be alright till i get the right one? anyone know what type of sensor i now need?  and if it will all still work?

i have just added cold air feed and done the air box mod too, but cant test drive it as im waiting in on a delivery. just reving it on the drive tho seems okay then somtimes it kind of bog down thenjump back up again.

Why did you need to change yours in the first place? Its not going to make any difference unless your cylinder head has been gas flowed etc.

it defiantly felt more responsive. i wasnt expecting any noticeable difference, but having the TB on with the air box modded and cold air feed and a clean of the KnN there was a difference, minus it working properly due to the sensor.
