Just popped into my dealer and it looks like I should be able to pick up my GTI on Saturday. Will find out on Thursday when my salesman is back if it will happen or not, I hope so I'm getting exicted now!

I will try and get some pictures tomorrow, I ordered in October for March delivery but there is no way I could wait that long knowing that I can have it now  :evil: . I'm sure your cars will soon follow  :smiley:

My Trackers just changed to Arrived in the UK.
I know it's been shipped to Tyne, anyone any idea from now how long it will take till I receive it.
I can't wait!!
My only concern is I'm getting this car during the worst possible months of weather, though I think it'll be a good test of the cars ability.

I'm confused???? My BW50 car is still saying (In Transit --Your car is on the next stage of its journey to the UK. On average it takes 3 weeks for this model to reach your local Volkswagen Retailer)Correct me if i am wrong but i thought that all BW50 cars should be at the same stage?. :cry: :cry: :cry:

I know. But it just seems to be the luck of the draw. Also, the festive season has not helped! The wait will be worth it! No Christmas is out of the way, it will soon be here :smiley:

Normally about a week, My dealer phoned me on Christmas eve to tell me it arrived in the UK and I will be picking up tomorrow morning at 10am. I saw it for the first time this morning and it looked great  :laugh: I did notice that the GTI side badge was part red, I thought that they changed to just chrome at BW45? I much prefer the red badge so guessing I'm lucky?
