Build week mess around

I am just so pi$$ed off with VW. I ordered my GTD in May and I have been told that they can't confirm the build week of 46 it is now showing an unconfirmed week of 48. This car better be bloody good or else I'm going to learn German and go to bloody wulfgang towers, or whatever the place is called and give them some s$$t.

Me too mate - I was BW39 (22nd September) and it still shows as "being built"
Now the dealer is telling me that I wont get it until the end of November ( at the earliest )

I'm currently giving them grief on Twitter and Facebook as well as calling CS

What spec have you ordered..?

I ordered mine 17/7 and it is confirmed for build in week 46 (4/11) my spec is 3-Door manual + dynaudio + adv phone prep...

I ordered a GTi mid-June and it's sitting in Emden currently (B/W 41). I also have the Pro Nav so I don't think it's that.

The GTD Orders seem to be suffering more than the GTi orders, I think it must be a lack of parts/engines/monkeys!

Fair - I know that feeling! Had a whine to the dealer about that this morning and got this reply:-

"Regarding associates who already have their cars, this could only have been possible if they were taking delivery of cars already on order for stock.
The unique specification of your car meant that it had to be an order from scratch and so effectively had to join the back of the queue. The flip side of course is that your car will be exactly what you want and therefore will be well worth the wait!"
