Not sure if anyone else is aware of this but it looks like ebay are now charging final value fees on postage as well as the item.

I only noticed last night whilst looking at my invoice.

It is 10%, so you pay to list, pay again twice then paypal take a cut  :angry:

That's why they say "we guarantee your money back ads" its got to come from somewhere?
TBF like most people I only buy distance nearest to me and just don't bother sell anymore rather give my junk to people I know for a small drink.

It's because sellers were advertising items at 99p with £10 postage therefore paying fees only on 99p.

It does make sense, with all the stuff being sold for 0.01 to 0.99... But still very unfair  :angry:

don't see why the regular seller should be hit for others greediness though.
ive just sold quite a few items on ebay last week and if I were aware of the double charging bullsh!t, I would not have bothered.
oh well, I wont bother selling on ebay anymore, they getz no dollarz from me!

Noticed PayPal doing a buy now pay later thing the  other day. They take payment 14 days after, although I don't know how much they charge for it. No doubt something extortionate!

I've had a couple of purchases with this because I didn't read before clicking yes. As far as I am aware costs nothing.
I think the idea is that it saves them time (and money) by not having as many disputes to resolve.

Ebay and Paypal are both immense for buyers. sh!tty for sellers though.

On October 3, 2002, PayPal became a wholly owned subsidiary of eBay.

Now I only sell through gumtree or local forums. If people insist I'll do paypal but I hate using the shower of B@stards, there's making a reasonable profit then there's obscene profit.
Don't get me started on their tax "avoidance", simply a synonym of evasion and makes criminals with white collars feel better.
