Mk7 GTD Remap or not as the case may be...
« on: 28 October 2013, 17:16 »
Hi all,

Well it's been a while but we have a MK7 GTD landing in a week or so to play with.

I'll let you know more as I know more but the news on the jungle drums isn't looking to hopeful at the moment ecu wise.

Regards

Craig

Tuning box? Haven't seen any actual mpg gains, but the performance improvement is phenomenal with the tdi-tuning.co.uk box.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

Yes, I've seen some companies tuning box figures, we could have a shoot out day maybe

I'll be dyno testing our own tuning box and publishing figures if all else fails

So right now a box is the way you're looking to go too due to the ecu being a sod to crack?

I did find with my poor Bridgestones that gains in 1st and 2nd gear were wasted because I couldn't put it down - could be phenomenal on an A3 184TDI Quattro.

Hey Doc

Is the car your going to try and remap a DSG? I'm still waiting on my car being delivered and keen on a remap but mine is DSG and wary of anything unless it's specifically run for a DSG as I know there's limitations from the gear box.
