Must have been on the Autorunner as I received a call earlier from the dealer giving me my new registration   :laugh: :laugh:

The car is en-route to them and will arrive in about a weeks time, with me being able to pick up a week or 2 after that.  Sooooo close now, barring any interference from the lease company should be driving around in a new GTD w/c 9th  :whistle: :whistle:

Phone VWSA - 0860 434 737 they are quite good at getting updates. Otherwise once it's on a ship go to http://www.2wglobal.com/ go to Track and Trace and type the VIN number into Cargo ID and it will show which ship it's on and when it will get to PE.

Coincidentally, i received a call from my dealer today. He told me that the car is waiting to port, i was hoping that it would be on the boat that's leaving for P.E. today, the VIN no. doesn't seem to show up on http://www.2wglobal.com/ so i can only hope that it will be on the ship that's leaving to p.e. on the 26th.

It sometimes takes a day or two for the manifest to be update but my car only got on the second ship at the docks. It was finished and on a train on the 31st October. Arrived at the dock on the 7th and was loaded on the ship on the 11th

Thanks for the info rocknob, the VIN number doesn't seem to appear on the site. I am pretty sure it will be on the boat leaving on the 26th.

Just found out my GTD has been sitting at Emden since the 12th! Vwcs couldn't confirm when it would be leaving but a boat is due to leave tomorrow and 2 next Saturday! Just want my car!!!

Excellent!! Hope all goes well.

I'll be speaking to my dealer Monday to try and get a date. Would like to try and pick up by Friday, but think it's more likely to be the week after.  Not long now though

Wish I was as lucky as you guys

My tracker has become a bit of a mess lately and I am being given conflicting information from the dealership and VW UK.

Latest update is that it hasn't left the factory yet for some "unknown" reason... even though I was told 2 weeks ago that it had been built and was at Emden port.

Really hoping this isn't a sign of things to come  :sad:
