Springs for a mk2 16v
« on: 26 October 2013, 14:09 »
Hi,
I am trying to put my mk2 16v back to standard ride height after buying lowered. I cant seem to find the correct springs, the main agents havent been able to supply since 08. The factors and the likes of GSF only supply 8v springs and from my memory the 16v has lower stiffer springs at the from for the non gas shocks. VW heritage cant do them either. Has any one got an idea?

Put a wanted Ad up, and hope somebody has a set lying at back of their shed!

But yes 16v springs are lower and stiffer than 8v items.

Alternate option is a set of Eibach 16v springs which are only 20mm lower than standard 16v and still as comfortable as standard 16v springs

Hi Nick,

We can actually get hold of the these NOS from vw classic parts.
Give us a call quoting these part no's.

 Rear 4 door- C191-511-115/E
 Rear 2 door- C191-511-115/F
