Not sure if this has been done or is a dumb question but had a search and didn't find anything.

How do you get the windscreen wipers to stop in the unswept position and not in the home position?
Have tried turning off the ignition/removing the key but they carry on and park themselves.
Not a big issue but when I need to clean the windscreen (by hand) the bonnet edge obstructs them being lifted more than a small amount and I need to hold them there.
Hope that makes sense.
Any help appreciated.

I think you just turn the keys to ignition on and then off and move the windscreen stalk down like doing one wipe and they stay up.

Top of the class.Just tried that and it worked.
Stood on one leg and gave the stalk a 'funny' handshake just to make sure.
Cheers.
