MPG READER NOT WORKING

Hi i havent driven the car in two days and i get in today and the digital mpg reader etc in the middle isnt working
Anyone know why this could be?

Can't view the pic. But common for the red LCD display to go.

Believe it's easier to replace the whole clocks cause of the expense and chew on you have replacingg the LCD

But won't new clocks read the wrong mileage? Sorry if I sound stupid :/

when you buy the new clocks you will need to (or you will need to get someone to do it for you) code them in with VAG COM and then set the milage.

Mine did this the other week, the whole display just stopped working. Then a few days later, the display started working again.
