Just a stupid question.... :huh: how do you guys know what boat your car is on??...Are you given a boats name or something??
Am I missing something or do people just hope its on a random boat with the name Auto or Highway

There's a lot of guessing and hoping.  In my case I got a confirmation from VW that mine is loading on a boat today.  Using the marine traffic website you can look at the boats docked in Emden and see what their destinations are.

Mine will be bound for Sheerness as I'm in the South, the other options are Grimsby or Tyne.

I've spent the past couple of weeks hoping every boat bound for Sheerness is going to be mine but this time I know it's the right boat.

I have just returned from my my dealer and they said they don't know which boat it will get on its at stage 38 on their system but once loaded on a boat it will change to stage 39.

They still think 2 to 3 weeks and it will be mine.

Same here, stage 38.... maybe ours will be side by side in the ship cuddling up  :rolleyes:

Mine too, been stuck on the 3 week message for a week already so you'd think it would change to 2 weeks  :undecided:
The ship is just reversing into the dock right this very minute.....  :nerd: running a bit late lol.

Still not moved to car in the UK step (6) but my tracker shows... "Your car is in the final stage of its journey to the UK. On average it takes 10 days from build for this model to reach your local Volkswagen Retailer."

I guess I didn't make yesterday Weser Highway ship and that it's heading on the next one? :)
