Still no movement on mine

I called VW Uk this week and they said the build week could be anytime this week or next, looks like mine might be next week then.

Still a few days left of this week, have faith. Mine was still build week confirmed when I checked two days ago

GrahamFR your positivity has worked and my car has moved from "build week confirmed" to "In transit". This is even after calling VW UK on Thursday and they had no idea that my car must have been built or in process  :roll eyes:

I'm not complaining but was partly looking forward to watching the little robot arm moving on the tracker. So the next phase of the process now starts, moving from constantly clicking the refresh button on the tracker to following marine tracker.

Did anyone get to chose their number plate? I am going into the dealer later and will ask to do this if it is possible?

Hopefully it'll make the same ship, if not don't worry. I have a feeling we'll all have our cars for Xmas.

My tracker is now showing....

"Your car is on the next stage of its journey to the UK. On average it takes 3 weeks for this model to reach your local Volkswagen Retailer."

Woooohoooo in properly excited, I've got my GTi furry dice and Lux mats ready to go in. lol

lol I would imagine the 3 weeks is from the moment it left the factory door to delivery at the dealers.
If this is true it could arrive 1st week of December :)

Am a BW48, but have seen that some Gti's are getting built a week early, so fingers crossed that mine also starts a week early. Am home from Angola on the 27th for 3 weeks, till the 17th Dec, my dealer said to expect to see my car on the 15-16th Dec

So hope it arrives before I go away again for 28 days
