My car breaks are not very responsive it breaks well but I have to press the pedal all the way to the floor.
I have bled the brakes thoroughly pumping in 2.5 liters of fresh dot 4 fluid whilst cleaning out the lines (the liquid that came out was black and the brakes I think were never bled in the15 years)but it remained the same.
My question is is this normal on a golf mk3? I v had the car for a year now and I always remember them this way,If I was positive that its the master cylinder (like I said the brake fluid was literally black is there damage?) I would spend the 150 euro and buy a new one,but for 150 euro its a risk cause the brakes work just not like other cars I v driven?!
