fault code 01135

iv got a problem got a fault code 01135 rear left interior monitoring sensor, anyone shed any light?

also went to put flash and beep on when locking the car, says its on on vag com but does not work on the car, is this anything to do with the fault code I have?

Most likely down to a door module microswitch or soldered pin connections on the p.c.b,my scrappy units were faulty  so i just replaced those with new ones,had the same code and symptoms as yours,hope you get sorted i'm pulling my hair out now

Sorted the beep its the microswitch under the bonnet, as for the light got sored that yet.

nice one mine is to,for the interior rear light i would replace it with a new one i had a fault with my drivers side rear last week and got a unit from the breakers fully working for a fiver.
