NEONS for golf mk 2

hi, i just finishing doing up the golf and want to put some nice neons in there,

just got a few Q's, what are better, LED or the cathode ones, i hear LED last longer, but im confused, and also, where can u get decent ones which are golf compatible, i saw some on ebay but i aint got a clue whats going on,

depends where you are putting them.

I find the bin a good place personally, or perhaps the new trend and attatch them to your microwave.

To attatch them to a cult classic such as a golf is a mistake as it will look sh!t, and you will officially be classed as a chav.

LOL, not the answer i was expecting but fair enuff, i aint gna put them on the outside, just inside on the footwell or something,

the reason y, i dunno, just seem cool to me, ok, they do look a bit chav, but i reckon proper chav is sticking them on a battered up nova or something, putting them INSIDE the golf i reckon near the footwell just kinda kool


like opening the door and seeing a bluey glow seeping out is kinda cool, u have 2 admit? ey?

neons no.. leds.. maybe if ur replacing interior dash bulbs... but please don't pu them on a mk2 golf.. u give us all a bad name... bu then again, you'll make my car look better ??

ok, ok, i get it, i aint gna put neons in there, partly coz i can;t be arsed to find em, and partly coz im coming to my senses, and also partky coz the the other owners in our mk2 golf club in bham gave a bollocking when they found out.

btw, is making the exhaust sound really loud by changling the muffler or exhaust tip chavish?

Personally no really loud exhausts on my valver -  but I think you'd be forgiven for having one!

Well im currently installing neons in my golf mk2 (parcel shelf and footwells), n i dont care if i do look like a chav, i like em so therefore thats all the opinion I need. Just thought I'd share seeing as due to a bashing you've decided against doing it. All I have to say is baaaa baaaa. Beat me up now if you wish!
