« on: 17 October 2013, 22:29 »
Complete noob when it comes to this but ever since i got the car ive wanted to lower it but haven't got the foggiest clue of what to buy or what is a good height to start off with there are a few speeds bumps round my area so obviously i don't want the wheels touching the arches..

Get a set of coilover then you can raise and lower as you please.  JOM seem to be the budget ones to go for. If you can, get the best set you can afford as I believe you get what you pay for.

Get Coilovers, that way you can adjust what you want when you want.
If your budget is tight get JOM coilovers they cost around £140-£170, decent ride I personally have them and they have been on my car for a year and so far so good but alot of people have had problems with the struts leaking or failing.

If money isnt an issue get the Weltec GT coilovers they are around £400-£600 and are the best you can get.

Id also change your front top mounts and rear top mounts while your at it.

Those are top mount for the rear and are probably worth replacing, it's more important that you change the fronts though.
