Golf TD GTI 150 imminent purchase
« on: 17 October 2013, 12:05 »
Hi Guys,

I just wanted to introduce myself as a newbie and imminent 1st time owner of a 2002 52 Golf GTI TD 150 in metallic grey.
I am waiting to take delivery of it as the old chap I am buying it off is waiting for his brand new Golf GTI to be built!
The car is one owner from new, full service history and has covered all of 16,000 miles (No that isn't a mis-print, genuine 16000 miles!)

I'll get some pics up when I finally take delivery of it, and I have placed a decent deposit on it so hopefully it won't go horribly wrong!

Sounds nice. Tell him I'll buy his GTI off him in 10 years time.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Thanks guys, Yes, good advice, he has had the timing belt/waterpump changed not that long ago, It will be another 12 weeks before his new car arrives so I will have to be patient but it's worth it of course! Mileage is genuine, all full VW history and MOT's to verify mileage etc, very nice genuine seller.

Low miles is nice but can be more trouble than it is worth in the long run even more so on a diesel.

All those short runs etc plus oil never reaching temp
