Come on people, the MK3 forum's getting like the garage up top, all spanners and no play!  C'mon lets hear some tales of heroic MK3 capers, or some contraversial topics.  I for one are getting fed up with reading about ECU's (whatever they are).  I did the fastest speed topic and the long in the tooth poll anybody else got anything to say?
Come on, especially you southerners cant all be about polishing your cars and bragging about how much your houses are worth!

umm.... i saw (and heard) a -big- seagull explode the other day when a car hit it outside the vw garage next to where i work.. pretty gross..

I had my car covered in the corpse and entrails of a deer 'exploded' by the Shogun speeding the other way on the A33 a few months back.

But I have a mk2 - so I'm on the wrong thread . . . .

a young deer jumped out in front of me up on the quantocks at dusk time when I was learning!.. didnt scare me at all, i just braked and drove around it.. but nearly gave my dad (aka co-pilot) a heart attack.. lol

years ago i know someone who hit a deer and wrote off a montego on the a38 (taunton -> minehead road). treacherous enough road without wild animals leaping at ya! it was in the early hours.. 4am or something.. apparently there were lumps of umm.. venison steaming all over the road.. they said the rspca cleaned up the mess

cant recall hitting anything alive, but have had a few crunch moments hitting cadavers

I nearly had a pigeon fly through my open window when I was driving along luckily it hit the wing mirror, got a mouth full of feathers though! nearly shat myself too!
