He also misinformed you as well as the ABF ecu is socketed meaning the chip simply pushes into place rather then needing soldering like some 8v's.

Well like i said he had no interest in selling me this part i did mention my car litre valves ect.. in that case seems he has priced it wrong maybe does any else know of a manufacturer of this sort of chip.

Yes contact the seller mentioned. I use his chip and noticed a nice improvement.  I will send you a link from u tube which guides you through how to install it. Very easy with care.

i agree with thai, i got my chip for 27 i think it was. for what it cost and the ease of it i would defiantly go for that option again.

This is what i have found seems to good to be true but if it is a plug and play chip and not a resistor like most companies on eBay and with you lot saying he does good chips i think i will go with this option.

Just called a place call RedDot in enfield London who map cars my campy has used them alot for our Alfa Romeo's they have informed me the ABF ECU cannot really be mapped he said i'll be lucky to get 5bhp after paying £250 as the ECU'S go a bit crazy when mapped.

I would save up for some schrick cams and a vernier pulley first, best money I have spent on 16v

You won't get 21 BHP but you should get at least 7bhp and a smoother power curve  which or the money isn't bad value really.
