Night Blue GTD
« on: 09 October 2013, 13:04 »
Forgive me for being lazy and not searching for this, but has anyone ordered/collected a Night Blue GTD as yet?  Or does anyone have any pics?  My missus saw one a couple of weeks ago and she said it looked outstanding, especially with the chrome offsetting against the dark blue.  She now wants one!

Thanks in advance!

Saw a GTI in Night blue ages ago – it was the first demo at one of my local branches. It can look great on a bright day, but pretty drab at all other times. The Demo was covered in swirls – definitely a high maintenance colour.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

I posted some pics in the demo thread a while back, looked nice but not amazing tbh.

I actually ordered night blue because the demo my dealer has blue.  Then popular opinion among my friends was that I should change it to carbon streel grey.

Here are some pics;

Plus a few I downloaded during my colour researching!

LOL at the dodgy dealer rubbing his hands. Not my choice of colour, but each to their own eh?

That is my favourite colour for a car but I don't think it suits the GTI, maybe its the red stripe that doesn't fit.
I wonder if the GTD looks better.

Thanks chaps.  I have to say its not my favourite colour either, but.... the missus loves it and its her car not mine!  I've seen a GTI in that colour but the red didn't go with it IMO - but I think the GTD white stripe will go better.  I'd still go for white if it was mine....

Matchboy, vw birmingham's gtd demo is this blue. I had a spin in it and personally the CSG would look better. The blue looks a tad bland. That's just me though. I'm going into the dealership Saturday. If it's still there I'll take a few pics if you want.

That would be great, if you could - thanks!!  There are literally no pics on the internet of a GTD and I want some pics to, well, put her off and get the white  :grin:

That's the guy I'm buying mine from, I think he was being articulate when he was talking about the car in fairness  :wink:
