Hi all
Just signed up on here:) just bought a MK3 Gti colour concept 3dr. :grin:
Looking forward to starting the modding, 
I have a few quetions ! sorry i have looked around on forum (prob not looked hard enough)
Looking to fit Dare RS wheels but not sure what to do as they are 9J rear and 8j front . are these going to fit ok,
Any help would b greatly received

Welcome mate I run 9" x 16 all round so yes its possible,its all down to how low you are,what tyres you fit and more importantly what the offset of the rims are!  :wink:

I run 9x16's all round. You'll be fine.


Et15 pops up as being a good offset

cheers guys , been told to fit 195/45/16 , not sure what t off set is !! will have to check with company tomorrow.
Getting coilovers at same time so can adjust to get coorect height , i was just unsure of the width 9J sounded to wide but u guys have answered that .... thanks

Et 20 on the rear,195 40 16 and roll your arches then you can run low  aswell  :wink:

Gash on here was running some ludicrously wide rears, massive amounts of arch chopping and pulling was involved though IIRC.

You will need to roll and pull the arches on 9j et 15. I've got 8j et25, with 195/45/16 and just rolling them wasn't enough to stop them catching, and this is only  with a 40 mm drop! I ended up just getting the grinder out and taking off the whole lip lol. Sealed it all back up to prevent (more) rust, then arch trims back on.

No need to pull the arches im pretty low ,rolled arches 9x16 et 15, 195 40 and no rubbing
