Front wings

For the second time in one wk a have bust the rivet off that holds the front plastic arch on and also bent the lip up on the wing
Other then rolling the arches is there out I can do? The car is lowered on the front and running on 15"s really dint fancy the idea of rolling arches because I wanted to keep the inner plastic arches.

You can have your cake and eat it.

 I rolled my front arches and retained my inner plastics, removed outers too to prevent grot building and rotting them out after I replaced them.

No bother, I'm realising I have a lot of VW pic's on my computer!
 I will just post them on the thread that way helps other folks for future reference.
I got after market wings as they were cheap and didn't have rust, nor did they look like someone had rolled them with a brick. However they did take significantly longer to make fit than OEM so use your judgement. If you can get good OEM, go with them. You can make your own rolling tool from a skateboard wheel and a widow maker jack. I used the cut card technique on this occasion as it was the best option at the time.

I'll post up a pic' of the finished article when I get my car back at weekend. But the plastic arch locates in normal holes with 10mm speed fixings and doesn't flap about.

Thinking of buying a arch roller off ebay and doing them myself. If I roll the arches how do I fasten the plastic arch trim on? Silicon?

You can make your own roller from the widow maker jack, a wheel spacer and a skateboard wheel. Mine worked well.
Google it.
As for reattaching arches some automotive sealant will do the job. Sikaflex, tigerseal etc

Make sure your arches aren't rusty or you'll end up wrecking them. Also cleaned thoroughly then sealed as otherwise you'll make a dirt and water trap that'll rot out.
