Hello neilgcal, hope you don't mind my asking but where are you getting transport information from? I know this has come up on here before but can't access it right now, cheers.

I have been following the forum pretty much daily for the last 6 months waiting patiently and just picked up relevant bits of info here and there. Monkeyhanger seems to be pretty clued up with the ships into the Tyne and apparently anything to Scotland goes through that port. The three ships operating Emden -Tyne I think are City of Rome, Paris and Rotterdam. You can google port departures or the ships themselves and you can track them and routes on sat nav etc. For Norwich I'm not sure what port is used or the ship names .. Maybe someone else can help??

the amount of cars coming and going on the tyne is amazing now. huge storage on both sides of the river

all the japanese cars seem to come and go on the south side at tyne dock (right next to the coal terminal..they must get covered in dust!)
all VAG cars have a storage facility on the north side next to a marina and a retail outlet

google maps was updated recently  as its showing the new car storage they expanded into on the south side so you can see hundreds of cars lined up at both facilities and the new biomass tower they built..though not the huge new container crane just added

the 2 big ships currently berthed are both Nissan Carriers..the hough ships are big things!

city of Rome due today

city of amsterdam on the 15th

the 'city of' ships are tiny compared to the Hoegh ships that come in..lord knows how cars they can cram in mind as I am always amazed at the number of vehicles they can cram into the isle of Mull ferry!!

Ok guys, went to see my car today and can confirm even though they were all built in week 45 with the factory delays, they are built to week 44 spec. The GTD has the sound actuator however as I have the advance telephone prep with the climate screen there is no MDI!
