hi,i posted not long ago about buying a silverline polisher,i ended up getting a das6 pro kit from cleanyourcar,it came with Menzerna Intensive Polish (IP2100) and Menzerna FinalFinish (SF4500) and menzerna pads,results were not bad


but i found the polish to be quite powdery as you can see in that pic,plus it didn't remove as many swirls so basically i'm looking for a polish that's good for swirls and that doesn't create a lot of powder cheers

Because of the hardness of paint you may need a higher compound. I used FG400 from Menzerna on mine last weekend with the same polisher and got great results. Refined with Final Finish.. Used with Orange and White Hex Logic Pads.

Its trial and error really, but make sure your working it for long enough, with the right pressures. It does dust a fair bit, but can also be if over worked.

When I was starting out with polishing, this was sound advice I got from those in the know (Jimble):

"The rule of thumb is to start with the least abrasive pad/compound combo, inspect and step up the pad with the least abrasive compound until you decide that it's not enough then step up the compound on the least abrasive pad and so on.." 

+1 on Poorboys super swirl remover.  Comes in increasing degrees of abrasiveness SSR1, SSR2, SSR2.5 and SSR3 - take your pick!

I like scholl concept. used it on vw and bmw both of which have hard paint and it works a treat. not much dust either and its got a great working time.

I've ordered a bottle of Scholl and the menzerna fg400 and some hexlogic pads ,cheers for replys guys
