Apparent update available for the Discover Nav Pro
« on: 03 October 2013, 11:59 »
Just been browsing the Motor-talk.de site, and those guys are saying there's a software update available for the Discover Nav Pro. This is the hardware OS not the Navigation software.

The new version is apparently version 0200, and mine (only built a month ago) is 0179, and is only available via the dealers apparently (not a download).

Not too sure yet what all the changes are (but hopefully it will add contacts to the MFD display - well I can hope at least)

Version information of your current unit can be found here:

Is this relevant to the basic nav as well Norbreck, or do you only get a software update if you have the fancy nav pro?

This particular update notification is only for the Pro model.

I'm sure there will be a similar one for the Discover Nav.

Yay, 600 posts of complete rubbish...............

Thanks George. I've already done the navigation update (all 14.5gb of it) for my Nav pro, but what I'm really interested in is what this 0200 software update for the infotainment system OS actually does (as this is completely independent of the navigation software), so I'd be interested in a change log if possible ?
