After too many cars with ruined ride quality making me vow to never ever modify the suspension on my cars ever again - I have to admit - that does look tempting!!

So, if you go for VWR kit, does it mean there are no "potential" warranty problems ?

Could be handy, as a friend of mine has recently become an APR dealer/supplier :)

We can nominate you as group buy coordinator then!

I also vote karlak for group buy co-ordinator

Wouldnt mind a set of these myself as long as they dont ruin the ride.

I can ask him the question.  Not sure what mark-up there is in these things.

there is a decent margin on these based on discounts i get from VWR

worth checking for those who have ordered through APR sale as it would appear APR have relocated their UK operation to Germany and have no staff in MK now

Was going to order from Awesome and get my local trusted garage to fit them.

But, put me down for the group buy!

So, with the Springs. Would you guys generally fit them yourselves ?  Ideally would it not need tracking afterwards ?

I guess the fitting and tracking would add quite a bit to the price.

Changing the springs is pretty easy if you got axle stands a decent socket set and some spring compressors. Maybe 3-4 hours doing it on your driveway.....Fronts can be a pain....rears are normally pretty easy.

And yes you,ll need the tracking doing afterwards...every time without fail after ive done springs tracking needs sorting out.

Top tip....be sure to disconnect any leveling sensors from suspension arms before releasing the shocks from the arms.....

I'm guessing the springs are the same on the GTI and the GTD?
