cast turbo manifold interest
« on: 03 October 2013, 09:56 »
Well from customer interest and with us growing I thought it time to look into supplying turbo manifolds for various VAG engines.

We're able to obtain manifolds for 1.8 & 2.0 16v, Vr6, 2.8 24v V6, R32 and of course upgraded manifolds for 1.8T's both longitudinal and transverse layouts.

The 1.8T manifolds will be for K03 & K04 turbos with the rest being for T25, T3 & T4 turbos.

So I'm just looking for a few opinions on is it worth us getting a few in, ie how much interest have you all got?

Prices aren't set yet but I'm thinking they're going to come out at £150 for the 4 cylinder manifolds and £200 for the 6 cylinder manifolds. These obviously aren't just cheap ebay tat but aren't as much as the fancy stainless equal length manifolds are so I'm hoping they should find a good middle ground.

Matt

it'll be very similar but to take a T3/T4 turbo with external wastegate port, this could be blanked if wanted

Could you make a manifold for an ABF to fit a K03S?

We could make tubular custom manifold but will be mega money!

These manifolds aren't made by us in house so it's just what the supplier has, I'm assuming KKK turbos on to older engines isn't popular apart from G40's so this is why it's not openly available.

Why would you want to run a KKK though? Can pick up a Garret T3/T4 quite easy and for decent money

therer are ways to bodge the 20v manifold onto the 16v head with an adaptor plate

but why stangel a 16VT  with a dinky turbo
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

fair enough  but that would strangle an ABF like danny_p says!

People use K03s's on Polo G40 turbo conversions and that's a 1.3!
