I would have haggled and had it replaced, going to cost you a lot more to replace it in the future.

I think I was all out of haggling FREE engine & 50% of the labour for that repair.



Maybe but with the engine out it would have made sense to fit a new clutch, it will cost you a lot more in future.

Should have gone to ECP bought a clutch and said fit that for me!

It all happened too late I had 3 x hours to decide cos the engine was getting put back in. Didn't want to pay £350 for standard clutch to then go stage 1 - 2 get slip and have to change it again.

In hindsight I would of sourced a good clutch in advance and done exactly this!
