yeah, I had to get a new mass air flow sensor again

Went for a bosch one this time. £62 (including giving them my old one).

This. Even if it's a Bosch one it's still refurbished.

Your right its a refurb. Sticker on it (done in deutschland). HOwever after doing a bit of reading on the refurb MAF onlione via google. SOme pretty postive feedback.

Most folks are saaying the housing is recycled and new chip and element for the maf. Well I will see how this one will go, but I assume there probs refurbed in the same factory where they make the new ones...so good for me.

Dom - A while back I posted about the MAF's and you told me to stay clear of the 3rd party ones. Well you were right and won't be going back. Hopefully the refurbed bosch will work good as new (can't see why it wouldn't). Worst case, I this one goes, I get a reund and man up and buy a brand new one.

Just waiting on my GSF warrenty card so I can send the 3rd party one back for a refund. Plus euro said if there is any issues in 12 months, I can bring it straight back in for a replacement that day. Winner for me.

Rather strange that the Vag group are notoirous for the mass air sensors failing so often.

I learned the hard way about them

It's a shame that a lot of people don't listen to advice and end up out of pocket

Same with a lot of things, temp sensors and thermostats.

I just got cheap coils for the cheap sh!tter Clio and they last not even joking, 2-3 months then blow again. I just keep getting new ones under warranty and takes me about 1.5 mins to change but for your average joe, buying the much more expensive Renault ones or even the Bosch ones would have been preferable.

I don't fit cheap parts anymore, I've soon learned it's not worth it, cheap pads and discs, always end up squealing after a while, better ones don't. Euros do an OCAP brand, all sh!t, track rod ends on my brothers Vivaro, 8 months and knackered and I mean big time knackered again, Lemforder ones have been on it 1.5 years now and fine.

Buy cheap and you're buying cheap quality.

Temp senders are another favorite!

Where all my moneys went.

same company, I used to use Carparts4less but the fooked up the last 3 orders. Waited over a month for a set of pads to be sent out.
Wont use them any more. ECP click and collect is the only way for me.
