its Time to upset me and make me feel sick. What sort of money should I be asking for my golf?? When I brought the car 3 years ago it was completely standard and untouched. It has come a very very long way in the years I have owned it.
In the last 6 months Ive spent £3k+ on her with receipts to prove. This included a low 44,000 mile engine swap, new dual mass fly wheel, clutch, cambelt, water pump, service etc using genuine parts.
That's not even including the money that been spent cosmetically and performance wise.
Full spec on the car is
*2003 ('52 plate)
*LC9Z Black magic
*Golf GTI 1.8T AUQ180 6speed
*99k on the clocks ( had a 44,000 mile engine put in 2k miles ago, receipts to prove)
*1 year mot expires 29/09/2014 that cost £500 4 kuhmo tyres all round, wishbones, cv gaitors etc
*6months tax
* I have personally turned the car into a Full 25th anniversary replica by buying recaro le mans seats, black headliner, sports clocks, full aluminium interior trim inserts, illuminated flush air vents, w8 interior light, front splitter, side skirts, rear valance
*dare BBS RS Reps 18x8.5j brand new kuhmo 225/40/18s on 18x19.57 BBS brand new kuhmo 225.40/18.
*JOM coilovers
*£300 paint correction and paint protection from Ultimate shine at the start of the month.

* This is a stage 2 car and is very fast. It was mapped by no other but Niki at R-tech producing 240bhp and 260lbsft.
*The performance spec is, Welly cooler F.M.I.C with 2.5" pipe work, Forge actuator with yellow spring, forge 007p, forge tip, devils own water methanol injection kit, jetex C.A.I, 3" turbo back inc decat exhaust system.
*Since then I have added a badger 5 ported exhaust manifold & R-tech oversize 3" T.I.P to go and have it stage 2+ mapped. with the above mods added to the spec 260bhp and 300lbsft will easily be achievable.
I have spent a sickening amount on this in the last 3 years hence why im struggling in realistic terms what its actually worth. would anyone care to help or suggest what to do?
